We got our hands on the March box. We were kindly given the box to review. So here, in all our opinionated glory, is what we thought:

Unboxing the Paradise Delivered Subscription Box

But first, let’s unbox!

When our box arrived, we felt like a kid on Christmas morning! The unboxing experience was beyond thrilling. I was eager to see what goodies were inside. We know their Singles Swag subscription box is a hit, so we were excited to try their Paradise Delivered box. If you didn’t know, the same lifestyle brand company that makes Singles Swag, created the Paradise Delivered box.

The packaging itself screams PARADISE! Bora Bora turquoise blue waters, exotic tropical palm leaves in a Bahamas pastel pink and soft blue. Hibiscus flowers, too. Aloha, beach vibes. Just staring at the box was a calming, soothing feeling, providing warmth to our minds. Almost like a spa-inspired staycation.

So what was inside?

What’s Inside the Paradise Delivered Subscription Box?

It was topped with a beautiful postcard that had an inspirational quote: “When you can’t find the sunshine, be the sunshine.” The perfect way to start your day and it was so aesthetically pleasing!

 

The postcard also had a list of all the hand-selected items that were inside.

The contents?

An aqua bead necklace set, melon hair mask, 3-piece scrunchie set, ultra-glow highlighting & bronzing palette. There was also a lavender eye serum. Oh, la la! Lavender. My. Favorite. Scent. Ever. The smell alone is like a mini spa moment.

But wait, there were more exciting surprises. Plus, they threw in an aqua bouncy mask, a trinket dish, and a cleansing bar infused with strawberry and poppy seeds. All these items were hand selected from small businesses which we love.

That’s not all! Everything was thoughtfully designed and beautifully wrapped up in white tissue paper with turquoise palm trees plastered all over and “PARADISE DELIVERED” stamped below each set of palm trees.

The details definitely made a difference. We felt like an exotic getaway was packaged in this one.

When we moved the tissue paper aside, the Aloha feeling suddenly shifted to Alo-Yeaaaaah!

What we liked about Paradise Delivered

Kueshi Naturals Melon Hair Mask ($20 value)

For starters, the hair mask worked wonders on our tresses and gave us the perfect salon-like experience with no trips to the salon. A gas saver for sure!

It was packed with all the right stuff like shea butter and argan oil to help nourish and give our hair a healthy look. And I love that it can be used on all hair types. Oh, did I mention it was packaged in a recyclable bottle?

And of course, the melon scent was sweet and fruity. Almost too fruity! It made me want to lick my hair!

BellaPierre Cosmetics Ultra Glow Highlighting & Bronzing Palette ($25 value)

The ultra-glow highlighting & bronzing palette? Gorgeous and perfect for a natural everyday look or to be taken out for a night in paradise. The colors blend well and give you the perfect beachy, sunkissed glow.

The palette included 4 shades of neutral browns that can complement any skin tone: three shimmery highlighters and one velvety matte contour shade that will melt seamlessly into your skin.

And can I say how much I love the design of the packaging? Wow. So chic and expensive looking.

It was in a luxurious Tiffany blue compact case, with gold details. Perfect for a travelista or the boss babe on the go.

I also loved that the palette included a mirror which made it really convenient for touch-ups.

Plus, everything was cruelty-free. The glow palette was definitely one of my favorites. A must-have for any makeup collection.

Emasses Skincare Lavender Eye Serum ($42 value)

The eye serum? Well, let’s just say it left our under eyes looking like we had a full 8 hours of sleep. Bye, bye dark circles!

London Charlie 3-Piece Scrunchie set ($15 value)

I especially loved the scrunchie set that is sure to complete your always-on vacation look. From beachy hats to stylish sunnies, the scrunchie trio will have you feeling ready for a day in paradise. Just pull your hair up in a topknot, add the gray, black, or dusty pink scrunchie and you’re ready for a dip in the ocean or a stroll at the beach.

These scrunchies were so soft and gentle on my locks and didn’t snag my hair like most other scrunchies.

I guess you can say that I Love, LOVE, the scrunchie trio. Perfect for the summertime. We can never have too many scrunchies!

The colors in the set are perfect for any girl. And by that, I mean, not just your “Think Pink” Barbie chic. There were colors other than pink, for the “not so girly” girl or the babe that likes to be different.

And the quality was durable. I tried pulling the scrunchies as hard as possible and they only stretched, but didn’t break. They’ll last for a long time.

Verdetta Aqua Bouncy Mask ($18 value)

The aqua bouncy mask? Aloe vera, honey, and cruelty-free? Sign us up! Our skin was more hydrated, brightened, and looked more radiant. The face mask is a nice addition to a natural skincare routine. It’s easy to apply and gentle on the skin.

Dr. Botanicals Strawberry and Poppy Seed Natural Cleansing Bar ($14 value)

The cleansing bar? Let’s be clear – this isn’t your Joe Schmo ordinary soap bar (but that’s cool, too.) No shade, but all strawberries and poppy seeds – this bar is a total game-changer.

Folgers might be the best part of waking up, but this cleansing bar is the best WAY to wake up, breathing in the scent of juicy strawberries.

And with the poppy seeds, you’ve got yourself a one-way ticket to scrub your skin and detox the day away. Plus, it’s vegan and cruelty-free.

Dr. Botanicals Strawberry and Poppy Seed Natural Cleansing bar is made with natural ingredients like strawberry extract and poppy seed, that help to gently cleanse the skin without drying it out or stripping away its natural oils.

What we disliked about Paradise Delivered

In a fairytale world, everything would be perfect. We would have endless amounts of vacation, all our dreams would come true and Paradise Delivered subscription boxes would be free.

But unfortunately, that isn’t reality — yet. In the real world, however, Paradise Delivered isn’t 100% perfect. There were only two items that we were less than impressed with.

Violet Harper Isabella Beaded Layered Necklace and Bracelet Set ($52 Value)

One item that didn’t quite cut it for us was the aqua bead necklace set. It was cute, charming, and maybe just not enough sparkle for our taste.

It was made up of a simple, layered necklace with aqua beads and an oval pendant. The colors were a deep turquoise coastal, but nothing special. It didn’t quite give us that ‘wow’ factor we wanted. It seemed like the oval pendant was missing something. Possibly a name on it?

It certainly has the potential to be a great addition to a child’s jewelry box. Possibly it would be a great addition to a gift set for someone special….again… a child.

We think the necklace and bracelet set was a bit too casual for an item worth $52. It was almost like the beads would break if we looked at them wrong.

It’s not that the design was bad, really – it just wasn’t our style.

Gen3™ Blake Trinket Dish with Lid ($28 value)

The trinket dish? Well, it was uhm not really our taste. It looked like it was something you’d find at a craft fair. Or an art project from 3rd grade. Either way, the trinket dish was a bit too ‘country’ for our liking.

We could see it in other people’s homes, but it wasn’t really our style.

It was definitely cute, but not something we’d keep on our dresser or desk. It just wouldn’t coordinate with our sophisticated, modern home decor.

We love subscription boxes because it allows us to explore different products and services without the high cost. All in all, we give Paradise Delivered two enthusiastic thumbs up.

This subscription box is the perfect gift for a special someone, like yourself! The luxury packaging and cruelty-free products are worth every penny. Plus, Paradise Delivered donates a portion of all proceeds to Feeding America.

While we just weren’t feeling a couple of items in the Paradise Delivered subscription box, the lavender eye serum, melon hair mask, and ultra glow highlighting & bronzing palette more than made up for it!

The scrunchie set would be a great addition to any girl’s wardrobe, the aqua bouncy mask was perfect for a natural skincare routine, and the Dr. Botanicals cleansing bar left us feeling refreshed.

Although we weren’t fans of the necklace and trinket dish, these items alone weren’t enough to let us down because the remainder of our box was top-notch.

The Paradise Delivered monthly subscription box was a great value. We loved that the pieces came from small businesses, and the packaging was thoughtfully designed. The items that were of good quality were worth more than what the box cost!
